Connie Explores West Hampstead

West Hampstead is one of our favourite areas in London. It’s like a little village in the heart of the city and those are sometimes the best places to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon exploring the lovely cafes, restaurants, bars and activities that West Hampstead has to offer with your canine friend.

Tannin & Oak

278 West End Lane, London, NW6 1LJ

This is a brilliant wine bar that also serves charcuterie. They have a great selection of world wide wines with an extensive list of those served by the glass if you don’t fancy sharing a bottle. They are also a bottle shop so you can take whatever you’ve tried home with you. We Had a perfect spot by the window to watch the world go by. Connie made some doggy friends too!

The Gallery

190 Broadhurst Gardens, London, NW6 3AY

A fantastic cocktail bar which can get pretty lively at night but was chilled when we visited. They have a great selection of classics and original cocktails as well house favourites. Connie was asked for ID by the friendly door men but they were happy to let her in once she’d paid her entry fee of cuddles. For humans there is no such entry fee.

Bobby Fitzpatrick

273 West End Lane, London, NW6 1QS

Another great cocktail bar on West End Lane who loved having Connie and she got a bowl of water. Again, they serve a selection of classic and original cocktails as well as a vast selection of spirits and gins. Their eclectic decor really helps this place stand out!

Wolfpack

291-293 West End Lane, London, NW6 1RD

Wolfpack is a great bar which always has some form of sport on, especially rugby. We enjoyed watching the women’s rugby Premiership on our last visit. They do a great selection of tap beer and offer decent pub grub to soak it all up. Connie enjoyed lounging on the sofa and getting cuddles.

The Black Lion

295 West End Lane, London, NW6 1LG

A personal favourite of ours! They always have a great atmosphere and are quick to bring over treats and water for Connie. When we visit there are usually a few other dogs for Connie to play with. They serve a nice selection of beers and wine, plus the usual. They do a great menu too!
